What is a Dynasty League?

A dynasty style fantasy football league is a league where you retain most or all of your players from year to year. This creates an environment which is very different from that of a redraft league. By enabling team owners to keep players and build a team over time, there is a much stronger sense of team ownership, and success is achieved with a greater sense of satisfaction.

Drafts

The Draft Date occurs two weeks after the conclusion of the NFL Draft. M4D utilizes a "slow draft" format, allowing each team 4 hours per pick. Draft order is determined as follows:

Consolation Bracket Bonus Pick:

Starting in 2023, the consolation bracket winner in M4D Dynasty League is awarded the 2.13 pick in the subsequent rookie draft. This reward will be given annually.

Buy In

Buy in is due 2 weeks before the start of the year's respective draft. $100 is due for the year. If a team owner trades a pick outside their current year draft they will incur a $50 payment towards the prospective picks’ buy-in year. Once half the buy-in is paid the team is eligible to trade ALL owned picks from that same year. The same rule applies to each future year, respectively.

Payout

Trading

All trades execute immediately. The Commissioner will not “push” trades. There is no "Review Window." Anyone with concerns regarding trades that are potentially detrimental to the health of the league, or owners intentionally stacking one team, should raise those with the league, and we can speak on it. You can report this via the Feedback Form.

Playoffs

There are NO divisions in M4D Dynasty. The top 6 teams move on to the playoffs. Playoffs begin Week 15 and consist of one week matchups. The semi-final and finals take place in weeks 16 and 17, respectively. The 1 and 2 seed get a BYE in the first week.
